About Us

The District Industries Centre (DIC), Saran is the district-level office of the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar. Its primary objective is to accelerate industrial development in the district, promote entrepreneurship, and create employment as well as self-employment opportunities. The Centre provides comprehensive support to both new and existing entrepreneurs, from setting up industries to availing benefits under various government schemes.

•  Guidance and consultancy for establishing industries.
•  Dissemination of information and facilitation of benefits under various government schemes.
•  Organization of entrepreneurship development and awareness programmes.
•  Assistance related to industrial investment and project development.
•  Coordination with various government departments for resolving issues faced by entrepreneurs.
•  Support for the development of industrial areas and clusters.
•  Promotion and awareness of MSME policies and schemes.
