About Us

The District Industries Centre (DIC), Saran is the district-level office of the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar. Its primary objective is to accelerate industrial development in the district, promote entrepreneurship, and create employment as well as self-employment opportunities. The Centre provides comprehensive support to both new and existing entrepreneurs, from setting up industries to availing benefits under various government schemes.

Key Objectives

• Promote industrial development in the district.
• Encourage the establishment and expansion of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
• Develop industries based on local resources.
• Support entrepreneurship among youth, women, and entrepreneurs belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).
• Generate employment and self-employment opportunities.
• Create a business-friendly environment for investors.
